What We Offer

We are a 501c[3] private, non-profit service partner funded by NJ Department of Children & Families.

Warm Line

We offer telephone support to parents and caregivers Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We can provide information, referrals, and connections to consultation team members

Parent Support

ACFSO provides face-to-face support, education and advocacy to assist parents and caregivers develop strategies to meet the challenges before them. We offer ongoing support at home.

Youth Partnership

ACFSO assists youth in navigating daily challenges. Focusing on building self esteem, improving social skills, and developing a strong work ethic by working together and building trust.

Caregiver Suppport Groups

ACFSO offers monthly meetings in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. A space for caregivers to support each other and learn about community resources.

Community Outreach

We attend health fairs, public forums, school events, and the like in an effort to meet parents, caregivers and community providers to share resources and offer support.

Food Pantry

We offer food from the Community Food Bank of SJ to families in need every other Thursday from 10am-2pm.


Here are the 3 essential steps to getting started.

The New Jersey Children’s System of Care covers all 21 counties with 15 Care Management Organizations operating within a single county or across a region covering multiple counties. Each local system is comprised of the same elements.

PerformCare is the single point of access to obtain any behavioral health, substance abuse and developmental disability services available publicly throughout New Jersey for youth ages 5 – 21.

Exactly How Does This Work?

IMPORTANT: You must be referred to Caring Partners through PerformCare and the NJ System of Care.

1. Call PerformCare

A Care Coordinator will ask you some basic questions to help you figure out the best way to address your family's needs.

2. Complete a Needs Assessment

PerformCare may contact a clinician to aid you in determining if you require care management services for your child.

3. Referral to Our Services

If your child needs intensive care and support from a team of family & community partners, you will then be referred to us.
